Filter or Sediment Dewatering Bags
Filter / Dewatering Silt Bags are designed to filter water as it is pumped from a jobsite, removing hazardous materials such as silt before it harms the environment. Once fully drained, the silt bag and it's contents can be disposed of as solid waste, an economical alternative to waste water or sludge disposal. These bags are an easy and economical option for any project looking to remove sediment or silt from their discharge. Also known as "Sediment Bags" or "Dirt Bags", they are made from heavy 8 oz. non woven geotextile fabric and the stitching is a durable double thread chain stitch.
